Welcome to Mercell Chaolong Haus, a hidden gem nestled on the bustling national highway of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. This charming eatery specializes in authentic Vietnamese cuisine, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere that is perfect for a casual dining experience or a quick bite.

As you step inside, the aroma of rich, savory broths envelops you, promising a thrilling culinary journey. The menu features a delightful array of dishes, but the star of the show is undoubtedly their Beef Stew Noodles. Patrons have raved that this is the best in town, cited by Xenn Drifter who described it as having a perfect balance of umami and a hint of sweetness reminiscent of pho. Every slurp brings a warm sensation, comforting on even the rainiest days.

Don't miss the opportunity to indulge in their signature Banh Mi, an exquisite Vietnamese sandwich that is reportedly keeping diners like Gideon John Lopez coming back for more. While the pork BBQ version is highly recommended, the pork French bread alone has charmed many with its fresh, crispy crust and delectable fillings. According to Mike Guinto, the flavors are reminiscent of the old beloved dishes from Bona’s, invoking nostalgia with every bite.

The dining area, though small and unpretentious, invites guests to gather, share, and enjoy each other's company while savoring these delightful dishes. The reviews consistently highlight the inexpensive yet satisfying nature of the food, making it an ideal stop for both locals and travelers looking for genuine Vietnamese fare in Puerto Princesa, as noted by Hyacinth Napiloy.

Whether you are a chaolong aficionado like Jun Jun, yearning for a taste during the cooler weather, or a novice looking for the best of Vietnamese dishes, Mercell Chaolong Haus is an experience not to be missed. Embrace the flavors, the warmth, and the authenticity that this quaint restaurant brings to Puerto Princesa City. Stop by today and maybe you'll find your new favorite dish before the secret gets out!

Most likely the new best beef stew noodles in town so far for me. If you like umami and pho on the sweet side then this place is for you. Its a small spot and not fully packed yet. Best try it now thats its not that popular yet. Sadly was not able to have the pork bbq bahn mi (french bread). Only had pork french bread which was so delicious. Cant imagine the highly recommended pork bbq one. Probably why it was not available in the first place.

One of the best Vietnamess Pho restaurants in town! Try their Bahn Mi, it is what keeps me coming back.

When Bona's was still making good Beef Stew and Buto2x SBS, this is their taste. The noodles I ate taste clean and yummy. One of the best in PPS

This is so far my top 1 on the list of best chaolong in puerto princesa and south palawan. Haven't been eating and discovering the north yet. So wait for that update. This is not sponsored. I'm just addicted to chaolong, esp when it's raining and cold outside.
